For funds

An operating partner who has run the kind of company you just bought.

Financial engineering does not fix a plant with the wrong second-in-command. For industrial and operationally intensive portfolio assets, I work as the operator on the ground — before the deal, or after it.

This is you if

Does this sound familiar?

  • You are underwriting an industrial asset and the model assumes operations you cannot verify.
  • A portfolio company is missing plan and the reporting does not explain why.
  • You need an operating partner for a specific asset rather than another advisor.
  • A capex or automation program needs someone who has delivered one before.

What I do

How I help

01

Operating partner

Hands-on involvement with a portfolio asset: the operating plan, the management team, and the specific levers that move EBITDA in an industrial business.

02

Operational due diligence

Pre-close assessment of equipment, capacity, maintenance debt, and the team — the items that do not appear in the data room but decide the return.

03

Automation and controls

Where automation genuinely pays and where it is theatre. Built from delivering control systems across 78 municipal facilities.

04

Co-investment

On select transactions I participate with my own capital alongside the sponsor — deal by deal, with operational responsibility attached.

Process

Five steps

1

Conversation

What you have, what you want, and by when.

2

Evaluation

Numbers, equipment, team, and the real state of things.

3

Structure

How to build the deal so that it actually closes.

4

Close

Negotiation, documents, and support through signing.

5

Beyond closing

Hands-on operational involvement, not a handoff.

FAQ

What people usually ask

What does an operating partner do here?

Works inside a specific portfolio asset rather than across a portfolio: the operating plan, the management gaps, and execution. Scope and term are defined per asset.

Do you take equity?

Sometimes. Engagements can be fee-based, equity-linked, or both, and on select deals I co-invest my own capital. The structure is agreed before work starts.

Can you run operational diligence before we close?

Yes, and that is usually the most useful point to involve me. A site walk-through before signing changes what you are willing to pay more often than it confirms it.

Which sectors do you cover?

Industrial services, manufacturing, automation and controls, construction, and infrastructure services — companies between $1M and $50M in revenue.
