About

Aleksandr Zimin

I've run the businesses I now help people buy, sell, and manage.

Aleksandr Zimin

Aleksandr Zimin came to M&A from the shop floor, not from an investment bank. For two decades he built businesses with his hands: electronics manufacturing, a plastics recycling plant, residential developments, business centers, and a dispatching system across 78 municipal thermal-energy facilities.

Behind that: three degrees — economics and enterprise management, law, and industrial and civil construction. And projects delivered across seven countries.

In 2021 he relocated to the United States and rebuilt from the ground up: network, reputation, market knowledge. Modular home manufacturing first, then flipping and construction in Florida, then a management company and family-capital structures.

Today he advises on buying, selling, and structuring equity in privately held U.S. companies, manages assets for owners, family offices, and funds, and personally co-invests in select deals — deal by deal, never behind a blind-pool fund.

His focus is operationally intensive businesses: industrial services, manufacturing, automation and controls, infrastructure. Companies between $1M and $50M in revenue, where management quality determines the outcome as much as the balance sheet. After closing, he stays in the company rather than simply writing a check.
